A chess match between 1st graders in the Free Zone.

Your child chooses how to spend their day.  They might start with a puzzle that caught their eye in  Puzzle Masters, and then explore math apps in the Free Zone, followed by battling their friend in Math Rocks.  They can always return to their puzzle, or explore something new!  Children who understand that they are in control of their learning will reach higher, persist longer, and apply their best effort.

At Pi Q Math, you will not find the traditional “teacher teaches and students execute”.  We strive to create an environment in which children are engaged in the thinking that is required to truly deepen one’s understanding and strengthen skills.  The camp day is devoted to student-led exploration and play with mathematically rich games and puzzles and the encouragement of teachers who also love to play with math!
